Return to Red
2026 is defining my practice with a quiet clarity. I started with red, and now find myself returning to it with each piece. There is a withdrawal from too many choices and a willingness to stay with what is already flowing. I don’t know if I am choosing red, or red is choosing me, but it has taken over my space, my canvas, and even my everyday life. There is intensity and control, and at the same time, a quiet letting go. I am no longer searching for other colours. Red is enough. Why control it at all; why not let it flow, inside and outside? As an artist, I find myself in a space of clarity, grounding, and acceptance, all at once.
